The winners are Illuminating and Ultimate Gray. The cheery yellow signifies hope and evokes thoughts of sunshine and summer fruit. It signals brighter days ahead. Gray reflects the strength and beauty of rock forged under pressure, a subtle acknowledgement that 2020 has been a rough year and that things are not always sunny. It is also a playful commentary on how our work (from home) wardrobes may have changed from business attire to gray sweatpants and sweatshirts.
The beauty of these two colors is they work well together. Isn’t that what we are learning to do as a society in the midst of a pandemic and other catastrophes? In true community, everyone and everything plays an important part. Sunnier dispositions co-exist with darker ones. Each is valuable and has something to contribute.
